North Korea beat Brazil in the FIFA Women's Under 20 (U-20) World Cup to reach the semifinals.

North Korea won 1-0 against Brazil in the quarterfinals of the FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup in Medellin, Colombia, on the 16th.

North Korea, which won the competition in 2006 and 2016, will try its third place. North Korea will compete with the U.S. in the semifinals to advance to the finals.

The Netherlands won the penalty shootout 3-0 after drawing 2-2 in a 120-minute extra-time tie with host Colombia.

The semifinal match between North Korea and the United States, Japan and the Netherlands will be held on the 19th.
