If you are a gamer who’s into pixel RPGs, especially those with anime-ish casual combat, then you definitely don’t want to miss Chocotto Stadium! It is developed and published by Cocone v corp., who earlier published Purenista M, a dress-up game with classic, cute art style. Therefore, you won’t have to worry about the art display in Chocotto Stadium!

The world in Chocotto Stadium is totally fictional. According to their official site, there is an island in the sky called Amphithea. In the tower in the center of the island, many adventurers are fighting for power and honor. The player, as one of the adventurers, is also seeking the same thing. And your journey begins from here.

Just as mentioned above, Chocotto Stadium is proud of its cute, 2D, pixel art style. As though the characters are chibi and using simple colors, you could still see plenty of details in them. Also, the combat system in this game is appealing enough for modern life – with multiplayer battle, you could experience a 3v3 or 6v6 combat with friends in no more than 5 minutes. So it’s important for you and your allies to deal combo damage to quickly finish the battle.

Since cocone has developed a game fully concentrating on dress-up, it’s not surprising that they will combine this feature in their new work – in Chocotto Stadium, there is high-level freedom with your character customization, from skills, gears to your class.

There are in total 4 classes in this game. The number is not huge for an RPG, but each of the class plays a strong role in the quick battles:

  • Fighters: There is a great balance between their attack and defense. They are especially good at dealing damage that needs high HP, as well as melee attack teckniques.
  • Thief: Their move and attack speed are extremely fast, so they are helpful when you want someone to attack enemies silently and swiftly.
  • Mage: They are good at long-range magical attack. But you have to be aware of their health and don’t let them go too near to the enemies.
  • Priest: They can give allies useful buffs in battle to enhance the power of the whole team, but their attack isn’t that powerful.

These are details Chocotto Stadium has recently released. If you wanna know more, don’t hesitate to try it yourself when it is officially launched on August 5! To enjoy the best audio-visual performance, we recommend playing Chocotto Stadium on Mac with MuMuPlayer Pro!
