Surah nas

Surah Nas is the 114th and last chapter of the Holy Quran. It has only six short verses but carries deep meaning and powerful protection. It is one of the most well-known Surahs, often recited for safety from evil, whispers, and spiritual harm.

🕋 Arabic Text of Surah An-Nas

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ
مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.
Say, "I seek protection with the Lord of mankind,
The King of mankind,
The God of mankind,
From the evil of the whisperer (devil), who hides,
Who whispers in the hearts of people,
Whether from jinn or people."

🌟 Why is Surah An-Nas Important?

1. Protection from Shaytan (Devil)
   Surah An-Nas helps protect us from the evil whispers of Shaytan (Satan) and bad thoughts.

2. Spiritual Safety
   It guards your heart and mind from jealousy, envy, and negative energy.

3. Powerful Daily Shield
   Along with Surah Al-Falaq and Surah Al-Ikhlas, it is part of the three Quls often recited for complete spiritual protection.

4. Used by the Prophet (ﷺ)
   Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to recite Surah An-Nas regularly, especially before sleeping and when he felt unwell.

• Allah is our only Protector – He is our Lord, King, and God.

• Evil whispers exist – Bad thoughts come from both humans and jinn, and we need Allah’s help to stay strong.

• Seek Allah in times of fear – He is the safest place to turn when we feel scared, confused, or lost.

• The heart is important – Shaytan attacks our hearts and minds, so we must protect them with remembrance of Allah.
