In this application note, we present three sets of data supporting excellent correlation between cone & plate rotational rheometers and m-VROC® viscometers for the measurement of viscosity as a function of shear rate. Additionally, a brief description of the most important features and major differences between these two instruments is provided.

 

m-VROC® key features include:

  • Accuracy: 2% of Reading
  • Repeatability: 0.5% of Reading
  • Small Sample Volume: 20 µL
  • Shear Viscosity Range: 0.2 - 100,000 mPa-s
  • Shear Rate Range: 0.5 - 1,400,000 1/s
