If you are from a science background, especially PCM, you have the widest range of entries available, including NDA, TES, Navy BTech, Air Force X, and Merchant Navy. PCB students can go for MNS. Commerce and Arts students have limited but valuable options like NDA (Army), Air Force X, and Y Group.
 
National Defence Academy (NDA) - Army, Navy and Air Force
One of the most prestigious ways to enter the defence sector is through the National Defence Academy (NDA). Located in Khadakwasla, Pune, NDA is the joint training institution for the Army, Navy and Air Force.
 
1. Eligibility Criteria
 
  • Must be a male or female citizen of India
  • Age between 16.5 to 19.5 years
  • Must have passed 12th standard
  • For Army: Any stream
  • For Navy and Air Force: Must have studied Physics and Mathematics
2. Selection Process

  • Written exam conducted by UPSC (held twice a year)
