Fortnite's New Season: Halo, Power Rangers & More
Fortnite's latest season is here, packed with an exciting Battle Pass full of crossover content. This update brings back Halo themes, adds Power Rangers-inspired outfits, and mixes in plenty of new weapons, emotes, and cosmetics.
The season begins with a Halo-themed Spartan armor set, including a blue "hero" outfit and an Energy Sword pickaxe. While the sword looks cool, its impact effects are fairly standard. A new rifle skin called Dot Matrix shows a net-like energy effect when fired—a nice visual touch.
Other early rewards include a red armor variant, a UNSC-themed emote that calls in a virtual airstrike, and a Mini Wraith back bling that lets you sync emotes with other players.
The OXR Idol set introduces a singer-style outfit with a clean white Lego version. Another outfit, the Crimson Songstress, offers the same design in a bold red color.
Secret Agent Patch wears tactical streetwear and comes with a growing bamboo backpack that changes over time. His Bamboo Blade pickaxe is a two-handed weapon with a satisfying swing and falling leaf effect.
Young hero-style skin "Player Mai" includes a detailed computer-themed back bling and a Tetris-based pickaxe that drops blocks when used. The GG gun skin glows with pink and red visual effects.
A military-inspired set channels Starship Troopers vibes with orange and black armor. General Onyx Winter stands out with a sharp uniform and holographic accessories. Her Queen Hunter variant adds silver hair and a purple outfit.
The highlight of the season is the Power Rangers collaboration. The Green and White Ranger outfits come with dagger pickaxes and morphing effects. A bonus Zord suit serves as the secret skin—bulky but nostalgic.
Additional content includes a spiral-effect rifle wrap, a stealthy black suit for Patch, and a Heritage Pass that brings back classic Season 5 items with upgraded visuals.
This season offers a bit of everything: sci-fi, nostalgia, creative weapons, and fun cosmetics. More content will be released on August 26, giving players even more to unlock and enjoy.
