Murex Expands Global AWS Collaboration to Elevate Managed Services

Murex has announced a multi-year strategic AWS collaboration aimed at scaling its MX.3 managed services suite and accelerating the transition to cloud-native operations for financial institutions.

This deepened partnership extends Murex’s existing AWS journey, enabling new offerings like MXSaaS and XVA as a Service, while improving deployment agility, compliance, and operational resilience.

What the Enhanced Collaboration Delivers

With this expanded agreement, Murex and AWS will jointly support the rollout of fully managed services that financial firms can adopt more easily:

  • Accelerated deployments & updates: The collaboration helps Murex push more frequent upgrades, patches, and feature releases with less friction.

  • Cloud-native XVA as a Service: Harnessing AWS elastic compute, Murex can deliver scalable, advanced risk analytics services without on-premise burden.

  • Expanded MXSaaS adoption: Since the agreement began in June, Murex has already onboarded four new clients using its SaaS model, evidence of growing demand.

Running on AWS gives Murex’s managed services improved agility, scalability, and resilience. Clients stand to benefit from:

  • Technical automation

  • Performance monitoring & alerting

  • Proactive incident response

  • Operational trend insights

  • Reduced downtime and faster time-to-market

Additionally, Murex is scaling up its global support by bolstering FinOps and DevOps practices and growing its operations teams.

Voices from the Partnership

Charlie Sanderson, Director of EMEA Technology Partners at AWS, noted:

“Financial institutions increasingly demand cloud solutions that reduce complexity and accelerate innovation. This collaboration brings together AWS infrastructure and Murex platforms to drive agility, efficiency, and security.”

Murex CEO Elias Eddé added:

“With rising regulatory pressure, cybersecurity concerns, and market volatility, institutions need resilient, flexible, scalable infrastructure. Partnering with AWS allows us to deliver mission-critical trading and risk capabilities as managed services—without compromising performance or compliance.”
